Zinse Agginie at Bryant Elementary School

Students in Bryant Schools learn through the art of African Drumming in a workshop presented by Zinse Agginie. The history and technique of this artform was demonstrated in a hands-on workshop presented by the teaching artist Mr. Agginie, who uses the hand drums for his storytelling and also as a percussive symphony. Mr. Agginie was born and educated in Ghana, W. Africa and England.
He’s one of the many teaching artists who provide learning opportunities for students throughout our state in schools supported by Arkansas Learning Through The Arts. The organization is affiliated with the National Young Audiences Arts for Learning network. The program supports learning opportunities in 25 schools throughout the state.
